Founded in 1989, Cie was a pioneer in Portugal dedicated to the transformation of paper for food, pharmaceutical and other industries.
Operating since 1989, CIE pioneered the large-scale introduction of paper bags as an alternative to plastic bags.
During its course, we extended our products to areas, like the shoe and pharmaceutical industries.
The quality of our raw materials and continued investment in new technology, enabled and contributed to our expansion in the domestic and international markets, with emphasis on Spain.
Our sales policy favors large and medium retailers.
